Today I'm going up to Barrie to see my Debbie, Bob, Janette and Jean-Paul (aunts and uncles). Deb has horses (!) so it's a great place to visit. I know we're having turkey for dinner so here's the plan. Lot's of veggies, turkey, a little potatos, stay AWAY from the rolls and just the tiniest sliver of pie. I am sooooooo tired! It was a good day though. Rachel was well behaved and Hayley is an angel. Theatre was fun. Janette and Jean-Paul are visiting. The coolest thing happened! Jean-Paul gave me his jazz guitar. I don't know why but I'm so excited. I do hope he has another. I've been so stress out about my hair. ( of all stupid things!) I remember when I dyed it back to blond the last time I had been red, Janette had said, "I like your hair sooo much better blond" I don't know why I matters so much to me. Well she looked at my hair and said "I love the red! I wish I was brave enough." I felt relieved. Well I guess I'd better scoot for now, I'm sooo ready for bed! See you tomorrow. I'm just waiting for Nancy to pick me up. I'm going to look after the girls for her. She has a photo shoot with Canadian Living Magizine this am. I'll give Hayley her lesson at the same time. Then I have to come home, get some work done, clean the house, (I have family coming from Quebec) get my stuff ready for theatre, shower and get ready then go to theatre.... I'm feeling better now. I heard back from the person in my newsgroup and all is good. I just recieved payment for some work I'm doing and even though this am was stressful I didn't binge.!!!! Yea What a great start to my day. I just went on one of my news groups where we exchange graphics of sorts and found an upsetting post. I had sent in a graphic I had made that I had learned and adapted from a tutorial. Someone asked if I had a tutorial to learn how to do it. I sent a link to the one I used. I at NO TIME claimed that the tutorial was mine. I have never and would never do such a thing. Anyone who know's me knows I have no tutorial writing ability. Well someone posted back.... " Well hello (Insert online name of tutorial writer) when did you change your name from (Insert real name of tutorial writer)?"..... I was really upset that this person thought I was trying to take credit. I posted back explaining but haven't heard anything yet. God! I have to stop letting things bug me so much.... I know there is nothing I can do about it right now but I can't get my mind off it. I hate having people mad at me. It wouldn't be so bad if I could just dissappear into the anonymity of cyberspace but silly me, I use my real name..... AGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tuesday, March 19, 2002
Hello! I've been away for a few days. No, not vacation (I wish!!!) just from the puter and posting. My computer really needed a good defrag. It took almost 16 hours. (Yes I have tons of stuff) It's running a little better now. Friday night, I took Shannon out to dinner. She's been having a rough month so I figured it would be good to get away from the house to talk. Well I ate all the things I shouldn't. Instead of healthy stuff we had a bunch of appitizers. Plus dinner. That wouldn't be so bad were it not for the fact that this pattern continued for the entire weekend. It was a stressfull weekend. I've got to get a handle on things. My life is only going to get more stressful this week. I have a bunch of business projects due, my music for the singing contest is due in a week, I have family coming up on Thursday.... And so it goes. I found my copy of Oprah's "Make the Connection" so I'm going to reread it. Well I 'd best go get some of the aforementioned work done. Later!!! :) |
