Fa La La La La I love Christmas. Everything about it. I love Midnight Mass, snow, the scent of trees, horribly tacky decorations, cards, Christmas specials (Unfortunatly I missed Alien Hybrid Squirrel and the Christmas Pentagram. Sounded creepy.... :o) ) carols, whole shooting match. One of my favorite parts of Christmas is our annual get-together. We had such a blast!!!! It was a small group, Jenny, Sarah, Shannon, my brother, Nick , Robin and myself. We had dinner (mango/honey glazed roast chicken and the fixin's) and surprise Birthday cake for Sarah and Nick (we'll that's surprise for Sarah, not so surprise for Nick as he spent the day with me and watched me bake it) then retired to the basement for games. Nicks version of "Family Feud" was a huge hit. (LOLOLOLOL!!!! Nick: "Out of 100 people surveyed, the top 5 answers are on the board. Who is more famous now, than when they were alive...." Robin: (after nearly taking off my fingertips as she slammed down her hand) (Gleefully) "JESUS!!!!!" Nick: "Um.... Good answer but...... no." Nick did however end up giving her a point for a good attempt, ever after called "The Jesus Point".) I haven't laughed so much in sooo long. I did stress out horribly about Christmas gifts. I had $150. to purchase all of my Christmas and Birthday gifts for my friends and family. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! I tried to be very creative and make a lot of stuff but I always end up feeling like I didn't do enough. This is the only part of Christmas I don't like. The part that pisses me off is that I have $1200. owed to me by clients. All that money that could have been spent on presents. Why can't people just pay their bills!!!! It's not even a case of them being small business or individuals that may not have much money at this time of year. They are HUGE honking corporations that have tons of cash. Hello! People! I'm dying here. Grrrrr..... I'm trying to find work and come up with other ways to bring in cash. I've got 4 vocal students which helps. I'm going to be posting a link on my blog soon to an online store I've created. I'm going to be selling 2003 calanders featuring my artwork. There will probabaly be 4 to choose from. Fantasy (Alien landscapes, space, fairies ect) , Landscapes, Bodies of Water (ocean scenes with sunsets boats ect) and Oil Paintings. I'll let you know when they are ready. Well I'd guess I'd better head out, I have tones to do today! |
