My Week, thus far (Serious whining ahead..... don't say you weren't warned) :)

I am in hell. And not that pretty, firery, cute little guys dancing around in red pyjamas hell, I'm talking, deep within the seventh ring, eternal torture and suffering, never see the light of day or and icecube again kinda hell. Yes, I am babysitting 3 kids and a dog for week while their mother is out of town. The dog is great as is the oldest daughter who is 11. The two boys however, ages 5 and 7 ........ they are driving me insane. The worse part is bedtime. It usually takes me from 8:00 when they are told to go to bed until 10:00 or so until they go to sleep. Now don't get me wrong, for 2 young kids whos mother has been gone since Sunday, they've been quite good but still, I wanna go home!!!!!! The plan was that I would work on web design during the day while they are at school on Lousie's computer. Problem is I can't use it for and great length of time as it's a temperamental piece of crap. You can't change the windows colour. I usually have it set on "Rainy Day" so that all the tool bars and work spaces are nice gentle shades of grey or blue. They have it set on "Pumpkin" where it is stuck. If you try to change it the computer freezes and crashes. If you'd like to see what I mean go to you desktop, right click, choose "Properties" then "Appearance" then pick "Pumpkin". Now open a program like "Paint Shop Pro" and note the screaming orange workspace..... AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is soooo hard on the eyes. On top of this I'm coming down with something. My throat has been raw for 3 days and now my tonsils are swollen. (Hey! I'm throwing a pity party, wanna come??? :) ) I get to go home tomorrow sometime. Yea!!!! Ummmmmm now I'm trying to come up with a little bit of good news......... and coming up short.......Oh hey! Only 78 days 38 minutes and 13 seconds until the release of the next Harry Potter book. No, I'm sad enough to actually keep track of the minutes and seconds, these stats are courtesy of "The Leaky Cauldron". Well I guess that's enough whining from me, I have to go wake up the kids and feed them.
