The word of the day is "community theatre". Ok, so that's 2 words but I'm tired so give me a break. :) I feel like I've spent the last week in the theatre. My dad is doing Neil Simons "Rumors". I went last night, this afternoon and I'm going again in about 5 minutes. It is sooooo hilarious!!! Tell you more about it when I get back.

I just heard from J.J and she's fairly ok with the script. We've got a few tricky changes to write but the ideas are already flowing. She would like Jenny to direct if Jen would be willing. Ooops..... I'm not sure if she's talked to Jen yet or if I'm suposed to. I guess I'll have to email her back. My gig last night was fun. All the music went mostly as planned. Tonight I'm going to see my dad's play then come home and write, write, write!!! :)

How odd! I fell in love with an amazing mini serise called "The 10th Kingdom". It's a wonderful melding of various fairytales, great actors, costumes and other fun stuff but the first thing that drew me was the theme. It's called "Wishing on a Star". Very haunting and beautiful. Which brings me to the odd thing. I was looking through some '80's music and I came across a song by "The Cover Girls" called "Wishing on a Star". Bizarre thing is, it's the same song. The 10th Kingdom one is much better but this version has more lyrics. Recycling at it's best. :)

Good moring! It's a very dark and stormy day here. I like rain and storms, they make me nostalgic. :) I'm sitting here working listening to a selection of '80's music. Yup, I'm a child of the '80's. Actually, I'm about to head off for lunch but now that I've managed to get Blogger to post my photos, I thought I'd post a copy of a picture I just finished. Not terribly intricate but I have a bit of a love affair with Alaska. I'd love to visit one day. *Ducks as sun worshipers throw baby oil at my head.

I just got back from dance class and I have to publically state that 3 hours of hard, heart pounding dance with only 1 10 minute break is insane. :) My legs are killing me and I'm going to be hearing "...flare, jazz, step ball change, shuffle, shuffle!" in my sleep. And yet..... I love it so. :) Well I'm going to make some tea, check my mail and hit the hay. I'm sooooooo tired.
